Soccer Game Preview: St. Joseph Catholic vs. Presbyterian Christian

The St. Joseph Catholic Bruins will face off against the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Joseph Catholic's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for St. Joseph Catholic's offense. They came up short against Jackson Academy on Thursday, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that the Bruins have lost by exactly eight goals.

Meanwhile, Presbyterian Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Hartfield Academy on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luke Lowrimore and Preston Sackler scored both of Presbyterian Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Presbyterian Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for St. Joseph Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

St. Joseph Catholic suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Presbyterian Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can St. Joseph Catholic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
