Softball Recap: Saltillo Tigers vs. Lake Cormorant
Saltillo's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against Lake Cormorant by a score of 5-2. The Tigers haven't had any issues with Lake Cormorant recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Avery Little spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up seven Ks.
On the hitting side, Addie Kesler was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Cella Dye, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
