Basketball Recap: Ross Comes Up Short

Ross lost against Franklin back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ross Rams might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 46-42 to the Franklin Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Rams' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Leading Franklin to victory were Christian Mcguire and Kai Cook. Mcguire went 7 of 10 on his way to 20 points, while Cook went 7 for 12 en route to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. The contest was Cook's third in a row with at least ten points.

Ross' record now sits at 9-7. As for Franklin, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-6.

Ross didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-44 victory against Harrison on the 1st. As for Franklin, they are taking a road trip to challenge Eaton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season.
