Preview: Contreras vs. Mendez
Contreras will be playing in front of their home fans against Mendez at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Contreras will be strutting in after a win while Mendez will be coming in after a loss.
On Monday, Contreras kept a clean sheet against Robert F. Kennedy Community. They came out on top against Robert F. Kennedy Community by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Contreras.
Stuart Olguin was the driving force of Contreras' attack as he scored both of Contreras' goals With that big game, he's now up to two scores this season.
Meanwhile, Mendez came up short against Hollywood on Monday and fell 3-1.

Contreras is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season. As for Mendez, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-5 record this season.
Contreras was able to grind out a solid win over Mendez when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 3-1. Will Contreras repeat their success, or does Mendez have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
