After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage, Santa Rosa Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Nuview Bridge Knights, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rangers have posted since April 30, 2024.

Maxwell Dupree was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off 11 hits. Dupree was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Dupree wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Logan Ledesma, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Jackson Morace also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Santa Rosa Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Nuview Bridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Coming up, Santa Rosa Academy will welcome Temecula Prep at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Nuview Bridge, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hamilton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
