Volleyball Recap: Decatur Central Takes a Loss

Decatur Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monrovia Bulldogs.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16.

Hudson Smith paced Decatur Central's offense, picking up three kills. Smith were helped by RJ Ison and Esteban Martinez, who contributed two assists each.

Decatur Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Monrovia, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Decatur Central has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Mooresville on the 5th. As for Monrovia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Brownsburg on the 5th.
