Basketball Game Preview: Parrish Community Bulls vs. Braden River Pirates

Parrish Community and Braden River are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Parrish Community Bulls will square off against the Braden River Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parrish Community has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Friday, Parrish Community took their match with ease, bagging a 70-32 win over DeSoto County. The Bulls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Braden River had to endure an 11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Winthrop College Prep Academy with a 61-57 victory on Friday.

Parrish Community pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Braden River, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

Parrish Community came up short against Braden River in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 49-38. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Braden River's Deven Womack, who posted 17 points along with three steals and three blocks.
