Baseball Recap: John Hardin Takes a Loss

John Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees, falling 10-3. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles/Banshees from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Nehemiah Isaac made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That run was his first of the season. Bryce Bradshaw was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

John Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Bethlehem, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Coming up, John Hardin will be playing at home against Elizabethtown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bethlehem, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-3 loss against Green County on the 14th.
