Soccer Game Preview: Greeneview vs. Calvary Christian

The Greeneview Rams will be taking part in a tournament against the Calvary Christian Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Greeneview has three straight wins, Calvary Christian has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Greeneview's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Cincinnati Country Day as they made off with a 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Greeneview, who have now won 13 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Cincinnati Country Day from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Daylee Sandlin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Calvary Christian was not quite Spencerville's equal in the second half two weeks ago. They fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 2-1.

Calvary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Greeneview, their win bumped their record up to 15-1-1.
