Volleyball Recap: Carmel Christian Comes Up Short

Carmel Christian lost against Charlotte Latin back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars came up short against the Hawks, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21, 25-11.

Charlotte Latin was led to victory by Ryan Burrell and Emily Cao. Burrell had 19 digs and four aces, while Cao had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Burrell has posted since back in September of 2024.

Carmel Christian's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Charlotte Latin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-1.

Coming up, Carmel Christian will face off against Ambassador Christian School at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Charlotte Latin, they will challenge Cannon at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
