Milton waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 32-28 W against the Sun Prairie East Cardinals. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Red Hawks were the better team in the second half.

Milton's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Sun Prairie East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Milton will take on rival Waunakee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Red Hawks 12.1, the Warriors 9.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
