Alcoa is  a perfect 5-0 against Eagleton College & Career Academy since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tornadoes are taking a road trip to  square off against the Royals  at 5:30  p.m. Both teams are coming into the  game red-hot, with Alcoa sitting on  seven straight  wins and Eagleton College & Career Academy on three.
On Wednesday,  it was close, but  Alcoa sidestepped Halls for  a  3-2 victory.

 The team  relied heavily on  Halle Bailey, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted  over her last five  matches. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maddy Stewart, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Eagleton College & Career Academy got the win against Sevier County  on Tuesday by a conclusive  14-3.
Eagleton College & Career Academy got a big performance out of  Karleigh Baker, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Graci Fenstemaker, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-1.
 Eagleton College & Career Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .571 or higher in three consecutive  contests.
 Alcoa's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-2-1. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they now  have a winning record of 9-8-1.
Thursday's   game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Alcoa has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .482. However, it's not like Eagleton College & Career Academy struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .455. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Everything went Alcoa's way against Eagleton College & Career Academy when the teams last played  two weeks ago, as Alcoa made off with  a  13-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tornadoes since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
