Softball Recap: Grant County Comes Up Short

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Grant County nor Great Crossing made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Braves fell 4-0 to Great Crossing. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Great Crossing this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 back in March.

Grant County now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Great Crossing, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grant County will host Simon Kenton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Great Crossing, they will challenge Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
