Soccer Recap: Fort Bend Elkins Takes a Loss

Fort Bend Elkins kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Tompkins Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.

Tompkins' win bumped their record up to 4-0-1.

Fort Bend Elkins has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Clear Lake on the 9th. As for Tompkins, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Friendswood on the 9th.
