Basketball Recap: Ryland Glass' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Emery/Weiner over Lutheran South Academy

Emery/Weiner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers. Emery/Weiner was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Lutheran South Academy earlier this season, when they won 54-38.

Emery/Weiner lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ryland Glass, who posted 12 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Diamond, who put up 11 points and five rebounds.

Emery/Weiner's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Lutheran South Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-15.

Emery/Weiner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 85-30 loss against Second Baptist on the 6th. Lutheran South Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
