Pierce waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the North Bend Central Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on October 4th.

While Pierce won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-22, 25-14.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pierce to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josie Painter, who had 12 digs and two assists. Painter has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Pierce's victory bumped their record up to 24-7. As for North Bend Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-15.

As of now, neither Pierce nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
