Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillcrest). They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Ruskin Golden Eagles on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hillcrest picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Ruskin, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will welcome Parkview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ruskin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln College Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
