May is a perfect 9-0 against Sidney since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will welcome the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. May knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Sidney likes a good challenge.

May is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Cross Plains: they outscored them in every quarter. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 57-31 margin over the Buffaloes on Friday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, 2026 welcomed Sidney with a 50-30 loss courtesy of Cross Plains on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1203rd, while the Buffaloes are ranked 532nd).

May's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Sidney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.
