Volleyball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Skyline Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While West ultimately came up short, they really made Skyline work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14, 28-26.

Moli Togia paced West's offense, picking up four kills. Togia got some help from Sebastian Bejarano and his eight assists. Finally, Togia was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

West now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Skyline, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-15.

West has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against East on the 1st. As for Skyline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Brighton on the 1st.
