Basketball Recap: West Shore Christian Academy vs. Mount Calvary Christian Chargers

West Shore Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount Calvary Christian Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Shore Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-42 back in December of 2024.

Josiah Masters was his usual excellent self, going 12 for 17 to rack up 29 points along with six boards and four steals for Mount Calvary Christian. That's the most points Masters has posted since back in December of 2024. Jackson Hughes was another key player, putting up eight points.

West Shore Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Mount Calvary Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Covenant Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Mount Calvary Christian will host Covenant Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while West Shore Christian Academy will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
