Baseball Recap: Bogan Beats King for Their Third Straight Victory

Bogan had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the King Jaguars by a score of 14-11. This was a revenge game for the Bengals: when they faced off against the Jaguars two weeks ago, they had to take a 15-11 defeat.

Bogan got a massive performance out of Omaria Braxton, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Braxton has posted since back in April of 2024. Alexiel Mendez Vigo was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

Bogan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as King only posted an OBP of .483.

Bogan's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for King, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Bogan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-10 win against ACERO Garcia on the 6th. As for King, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-12 loss against Juarez on the 6th.
