Basketball Recap: Elmwood Park Comes Up Short

Elmwood Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenbard East Rams. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 488th, while the Rams are ranked 154th).

Elmwood Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Glenbard East, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Elmwood Park will welcome Fenton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenbard East, they will head out on the road to square off against Lincoln-Way Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
