On Friday, Sacred Heart took a serious blow against Trinity Valley, falling 83-41. Sacred Heart has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Sacred Heart lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jayden Villarreal. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points.
Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Trinity Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sacred Heart will take on Ovilla Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ovilla Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Monday. Trinity Valley and Cistercian will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Cistercian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
