Soccer Recap: Illinois Math & Science Academy Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Illinois Math & Science Academy was not quite Westmont's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Sentinels by a score of 1-0. Illinois Math & Science Academy just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Illinois Math & Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Westmont, they now have a winning record of 4-3-2.

Illinois Math & Science Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lisle at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Westmont, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Our Lady of Tepeyac at 5:00 p.m.
