Softball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the La Salle Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 on Thursday.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for La Salle, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Centennial will face off against Canby at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 10.3 runs per game this season. As for La Salle, they will take on Parkrose at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 24.4 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
