Golden is 2-8 against Dakota Ridge since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Demons will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Golden will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Golden got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Bonafede out in front who picked up 141 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 141 receiving yards gave Bonafede a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Colin Meier, who rushed for 79 yards and one score on only ten carries.

Meanwhile, Dakota Ridge strolled into their game last Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bear Creek 49-14. With the Eagles ahead 42-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Dakota Ridge, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Nathan Rodriguez, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Dakota Ridge's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Brady Palladino, Marcus Weston, and Seth Gregory, who each picked up one sack apiece.
