Volleyball Game Preview: Wray Eagles vs. Burlington Cougars

The Wray Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Burlington Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wray is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Wray came up short against Holyoke and fell 3-1.

While Wray had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 24-26, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Burlington came up short against Simla on Saturday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Cubs: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-5.

Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Wray, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Wray was able to grind out a solid victory over Burlington in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
