Basketball Recap: Nelson Island Piles Up the Points Against Kalskag

Nelson Island won the last time they faced Kalskag and things went their way on Friday too. The Nelson Island Islanders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Kalskag Grizzly Bears 87-51.

Nelson Island's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Kalskag, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Nelson Island won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Scammon Bay at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kalskag does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
