Mt. Hebron waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the River Hill Hawks as they made off with a 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 15 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Abby Magdar was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Gianna Giacoletto was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Kaelyn Cisna, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two doubles.

Mt. Hebron kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as River Hill only managed four.

Mt. Hebron's victory bumped their record up to 23-1. As for River Hill, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-10 record.

Coming up, Mt. Hebron will challenge Southern at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. River Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
