Basketball Recap: Bradford Tornadoes vs. Fort White Indians

The Bradford Tornadoes can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 61-32 win over Fort White. Winning may never get old, but Bradford sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Bradford found their leader in underclassman Ar'Nayshia Griffin, who scored 17 points along with five assists and five steals. Griffin has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times she's played. Jada Hankerson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.

Bradford's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Fort White, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Bradford will square off against the Blue Wave at TBD on Wednesday. As for Fort White, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Hopefully Columbia focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Tuesday.
