Volleyball Recap: Bethany Community Takes a Loss

If Bethany Community was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Chatham Central on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves fell 3-1 to the Robbinsville Black Knights on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 24-26, 25-19.

Gracie Andrews paced Bethany Community's offense, picking up 14 kills. Andrews got some help from Cambyll Shokes and her 19 assists. Shokes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Bethany Community's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Robbinsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Bethany Community nor Robbinsville have any future games scheduled.
