Baseball Game Preview: Roma Gladiators vs. Martin Tigers

For the second straight game, Roma will face off against Martin. The Gladiators will venture away from home to challenge the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Roma took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Martin, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Gladiators narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Tigers 5-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

For Martin's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edgar Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
