It was a good run, but Dalton unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Allatoona Buccaneers. If the Catamounts were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Buccaneers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15.

Allatoona can attribute much of their success to Chloe Fuchs, who had seven digs and one assist.

Dalton's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Allatoona, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-7.

Coincidentally, Dalton and Allatoona will both be playing Whitefield Academy the next time they take the court. The Catamounts will head out to face the WolfPack at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Buccaneers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
