Fallbrook had lost four straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 0-5-1 to make it five. They fell 13-10 to the Bishop's Knights. On the bright side, the ten- run effort marked the Warriors' highest-scoring contest to date.

Tristan Sparks led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one run. Those RBI were his first of the season. Camden Hoff was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one RBI.

As for Bishop's, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games.

On Bishop's side, Alex Moreno was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Moreno a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Wesley Pearson, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Coming up, Fallbrook will be taking part in a tournament against Maranatha Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop's, they will take on Carlsbad in a tournament on Monday.
