Basketball Game Preview: Wayne Hills Patriots vs. Lakeland Regional Lancers

On Monday, Wayne Hills came up short against West Milford and fell 43-34. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 329th, while the Highlanders are ranked 82nd).

Meanwhile, Lakeland Regional also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Fair Lawn by a score of 54-43. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Lakeland Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Wayne Hills ended up a good deal behind Lakeland Regional in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, losing 64-47. Can Wayne Hills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
