Softball Recap: Rayville Comes Up Short

If Rayville was feeling good fresh off their 23-13 takedown of Block last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rayville Hornets lost 19-8 to the Forest Bulldogs on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 two weeks ago.

Rayville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Forest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Rayville has already played their next matchup, a 22-0 victory against Carroll on the 14th. Forest has also already played their next contest (against Delhi Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
