Archie Williams's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the San Rafael Bulldogs. The win continues a trend for the Peregrine Falcons in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Archie Williams had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-16, 25-8, 25-18.

Zachary Wulff paced Archie Williams' offense, picking up 24 kills. Wulff got some help from Max Brasler and his 30 assists. Wulff was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Archie Williams' victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for San Rafael, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Archie Williams is set to take on their familiar foe Terra Linda at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, San Rafael will square off against rival Tamalpais at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
