Preview: Concord Raiders vs. Glasgow Dragons

The Concord Raiders on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Glasgow Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Concord scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat DuPont 69-28 on the road. The victory was just what Concord needed coming off of a 63-32 defeat in their prior match.

Even though Glasgow has not done well against DuPont recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Glasgow blew past DuPont 81-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Glasgow has posted against DuPont since January 25, 2018.

Glasgow's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jahsir Robertson, who scored 29 points along with five rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Robertson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Christopher Saunders, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Concord's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5. As for Glasgow, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Concord won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in January of 2022, slipping by Glasgow 60-59. The rematch might be a little tougher for Concord since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
