Carver A&T posted their closest win since April 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Franklin Indians, sneaking past 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.

Jocelyn Barker was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mia McGarvey, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Carver A&T hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two strikeouts batters in three consecutive matchups.

Carver A&T's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carver A&T will welcome Perry Hall at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklin, they will challenge Hereford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulls will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
