Volleyball Recap: South Forsyth Falls to Johns Creek in First Game of Season

South Forsyth had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Johns Creek Gladiators on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20.

Ava Erickson paced South Forsyth's offense, picking up four kills. Erickson got some help from Avery Russell and her six assists. Russell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

South Forsyth will take on River Ridge in a tournament on Friday. As for Johns Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Pace Academy on the 7th.
