Soccer Recap: South Hills Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Polytechnic

There's no place like home for South Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Polytechnic Parrots on Friday. It was an even better day for Abigail Gonzalez as she scored three goals for her team.

South Hills' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matchups. As for Polytechnic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7-1.

Coincidentally, South Hills and Polytechnic will both be playing Trimble Tech the next time they take the pitch. Polytechnic will host Trimble Tech at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while South Hills will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on February 7th.
