Basketball Recap: Motivation Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Motivation can now relate to. They fell to the Liguori Academy Falcons 57-53. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Motivation still got an impressive performance from Chace White, who on his way to 25 points. Another player making a difference was Daimir Wesby-Pannell, who posted ten points and five boards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Liguori Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Naiem Scott-Allen, who to rack up 18 points. Thanks to that strong game, Scott-Allen now owns an excellent 46.3% field goal percentage. Rydee Miller was another key player, en route to 14 points.

Motivation's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Liguori Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-11.

As of now, neither Motivation nor Liguori Academy have any future games scheduled.
