Softball Recap: Nevada's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Nevada was feeling good fresh off their 15-7 takedown of Carroll on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cubs came up short against the Greene County Rams on Friday, falling 13-1. The loss put an end to the Cubs' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nevada fell to 2-1. As for Greene County, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Nevada will face off against Prairie City-Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Cubs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greene County, they have already played their next game, an 11-2 loss against Ogden on the 31st.
