Volleyball Game Preview: John Battle Trojans vs. Central Wise Warriors

The John Battle Trojans will challenge the Central Wise Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

John Battle is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Marion as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Trojans have beaten the Scarlet Hurricanes the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Scarlet Hurricanes has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Central Wise hadn't done well against Ridgeview recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Wolfpack 3-2.

John Battle's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Central Wise, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

John Battle took their win against Central Wise when the teams last played back in October by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
