Volleyball Recap: Bountiful Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Milika Satuala and Mckinely Duryea

If Bountiful was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Brighton last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redhawks came up short against the Woods Cross Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Redhawks' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Bountiful took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-16.

Bountiful's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of McKinely Duryea, who had eight digs and one assist, and Milika Satuala, who had 16 kills and five digs. Satuala is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 58 games she's played dating back to last season.

Bountiful's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Woods Cross, they pushed their record up to 26-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Bountiful nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
