Basketball Recap: McCallie Takes a Loss

McCallie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 49-40 to the Baylor Red Raiders. The match marked the Blue Tornado's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

McCallie's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Baylor, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

McCallie and Baylor could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. McCallie will challenge Knoxville Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 57 places (77 vs. 20). Similarly, Baylor (ranked 44th) will meet Webb (ranked first) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
