Basketball Game Preview: Grace Christian School Kings vs. The Carmel School Wildcats

Grace Christian School is 7-0 against The Carmel School since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Grace Christian School Kings will host The Carmel School Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. The Carmel School took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Grace Christian School, who comes in off a win.

Grace Christian School picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 41-10 win over Quantico. The game marked the Kings' most dominant victory of the season.

Grace Christian School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Madelyn Kennedy out in front who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards. Kennedy is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Claire Tuck, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, The Carmel School came up short against Christ Chapel Academy on Saturday and fell 62-55.

The Carmel School's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Grace Christian School, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Grace Christian School didn't have too much breathing room in their match against The Carmel School when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 29-23 win.
