Baseball Recap: Springville Tigers vs. Elmore County Panthers
Springville won against Mortimer Jordan on Saturday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Springville Tigers beat the Elmore County Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Carter Samuelson tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
On the hitting side, Jake Conner was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. Sean Nichols was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
