Volleyball Recap: Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack vs. Crofton Warriors

After flying high against Tri County Northeast on Tuesday, Elgin/Pope John came back down to earth. The Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack fell just short of the Crofton Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolfpack of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2015.

Elgin/Pope John took Crofton into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 11-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-16, 20-25, 15-4.
