Basketball Recap: Andover Takes a Loss

Andover lost against Blaine back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Andover Huskies took an 86-82 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blaine Bengals. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (75), the Huskies still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Andover and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Blaine, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Andover will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Andover knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Centennial likes a good challenge. Blaine will take on Spring Lake Park in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at.
